I dropped off my 200 postcards at my local PO to join the MASSIVE wave of voter reminders--Postcards to Swing States. This last push will send out 40.3 million postcard messages to join the gargantuan effort across the country, a literal flood in advance of the Blue Wave headed in our direction.
In addition, tomorrow is the first day of Early Voting in Delaware. My husband and I plan to be at our polling station to send two more Democratic votes into the mix. And though I've been irked by my kids' lack of urgency, I finally got through to our youngest. He mailed in his PA ballot! So, that makes three from our family (so far).
Happy Days!!
We're going to win this thing.

(9,775 posts)Thirty more still require purchasing postage, since we and others have effectvely cleaned out the local post office's supply of post card stamps! In a pinch, will use regular first class postage. The mailing window is from today through the 29th.

(11,505 posts)It felt good to mail them this morning. Plus I was blown away by the stats on the email I received--that today represented the largest mailing date, over 40 million mailings. And that's just from one postcard mailing organization.
Incredible effort!

(11,505 posts)The Goddesses are with us. The number of women voting is spectacular.
And yes, we ended up in Delaware after searching 18 months for permanent housing. We finally sold my mother-in-law's house in late August (a relief). Where we're located hugs the PA/DE border. Pretty central to all the places we generally frequent while being far lower in taxes. The kids are close as is our grand daughter.
We're happy with the move. Not to mention, we're out of Tennessee.
