Trump has always been crazy but...

I have never seen him more "off the rails" than in the last 2 or 3 days. He has totally lost it. He cannot control his anger. His name-calling is worse than ever. "Presidential" is not an adjective to describe him.

It is not a problem that people should continue to overlook. He is dangerous and delusional. It is tragic that the Republican Party chose him to be their standard bearer and their candidate for the presidency. He is totally incompetent.

There is no more cover for him. He sees all the polls and he knows that he will likely lose the next election and he is too weak to handle it.

ranks or candidates, from being too weird or worse for most American voters.

In turn, the gop has lost its identity and far more. This is going to cost them major time this year in the Nov. 2024 elections. I even would go so far that downstream elections have been negatively impacted by djt remaining in the election despite his age (and clearly showing major signs of it).

That's okay, I wouldn't mind a clean sweep of Congress, the presidential election, and then we would also have the ability hopefully to address the lopsided Supreme Court and its lopsided rulings.

They explain what he meant to say, as they see it, rather than what or how he actually said it.

Those not paying close attention only hear relatively normal, if not actually interesting, stories.

Those stories bear zero resemblence to the truth.

Why Trump said that 2 years ago there wouldn't have been a fly at his podium? Not referring to a time when he was president, not remembering the fly around Pence during his debate.

And where did he think he got the super power to kill all flies that might bother people at podiums? Was there a fly at his podium?

Just wondering if you saw or heard what the corporate media was sane washing that comment into?

Or did they just ignore it like when Trump clearly explained to a group of conservative Christians that he's NOT Christian?

Then the dam breaks and it's over.

All of the 4 major networks -- their ratings and revenues will plummet, as Trump slides into dementia and oblivion and history.

As for America avoiding the fascist Republican Party for taking over and revoking democracy -- that's a nice byproduct -- but not because the networks promoted it.

I don't want him to be out of the race necessarily. I just want something that's bad enough to wake up all the undecided fence sitters who just can't seem to make up their poor little minds whether to choose the big juicy steak or the bowl of putrifying garbage. The evidence includes sworn statements from every one of his aides that they told him, and that he was aware, that there was no massive, widespread fraud that changed the outcome of the election. They have statements from all of them. This 100% proves he is a pathological liar and was lying to the American people and continues to lie to his supporters to this day. RW talk radio even admits this(that the entire point of SCOTUS getting involved was to prevent this evidence from being presented to Republican voters prior to the election). The entire jig is up when its presented in court that he knew there was no fraud and that he has continued to lie.

36. Cognitive dissonance . . .
Sun Sep 29, 2024, 05:31 PM
Sep 29

The GOP desperately wants a strong leader, one with clear vision, strength, and mental stamina, someone who appeals to mainstream America, a leader who can lead them to victory in any election.

They have been looking for such a leader for a very long time.

But the GOP being the party that attracts freeloaders, con artists, 'I am here for ME!' types, Trump is the best they can do.

If you squint real hard, you will see that Trump is the leader the GOP has been hoping for.
But the GOP is feeling uneasy, cognitive dissonance at work. Things don't feel quite right.

If your vision isn't clouded, you will see Trump for what he is. A sad old man, delusional, incoherent, showing the signs of mental decay and paranoia more and more each day.

I recognise the signs . . . when I was 15, decades ago, I had a weight problem.
Doctor prescribed the currently popular drug, now known collectively as speed, ie amphetamines.
I got heavily into the paranoia, word salad, developing new ideas by joining unrelated information together and thought it was a sign of intelligence, things common to long term speed addicts.

But I did lose weight. Along with my mind.

Anyhow . . .
Trump isn't the problem, he is the tip of the iceberg, a symptom of the GOP disease - his enablers and the whole GOP mindset are the problem.

That they told him, and that he was aware, that there was no widespread, massive fraud that could have changed the outcome of the election. It's all over at that point. There is no defense for him left. Its that simple. This is what voters need to know prior to the election and what the Republicans wanted under court seal until the election was over. Its one thing to say "we all know they told him that". To have the statements out that can now no longer be disputed with silence is the nail in the coffin.
