Newsweek: Ted Cruz Losing to Colin Allred for First Time: Texas Poll

https://www.newsweek.com/ted-cruz-losing-colin-allred-first-time-texas-poll-us-senate-election-1956711
The survey, conducted by Morning Consult between September 9 and 18, showed Allred one point ahead of Cruz, on 45 percent to his 44 percent among 2,716 likely voters. His lead was within the poll's margin of error of +/-2 percentage points.
Cruz, who is the incumbent Texas Senator, has had a consistent lead over his opponent in previous polls.

"For the first time in this race, a new poll has us leading Ted Cruz by 1 point. I don't know about y'all but I'm fired up and ready to WIN! We've got 47 days, let's do this Texas," Allred said in a post on X, formerly Twitter.

Not a top rated poll but given the groundswell here in DFW i don't doubt it.
C'mon Texans, let's cast our votes for Allred & kick christofascist Cruz to the curb! Vote blue up & down ballot!!

If that poll is at all legitimate, it would probably mean he's ahead by a bit more.

This could inspire the Democratic money people to start pushing additional revenue into Allred's campaign. Same is true for Florida. Simon Rosenberg predicted that the next few days to a week would determine the decision, all based on what the numbers looked like and the genuine viability of an actual win in either state.

Taking out Cruz and Skeletor. How sweet it would be!

So, if we hear or read that funds are gushing into either or both locations, we'll know the money is chasing the impossible dream with a foot in strategic reality.

I've given Allred about $1000. I loathe Cruz, and am hoping for this race to kick Ted's ass off the public dole.
