How would you feel about governments subsidizing used car salespeople with $2 billion per year?

I'm not talking about subsidizing people who already sell used cars. I'm talking about subsidizing only people who worked in banking before the establishment of the subsidy policy, and who switch from banking to selling used cars.

Wouldn't there be less risk of a future collapse of the financial system if they were selling used cars instead of working in banking?
