. to get the latest Covid booster shot, Im wide awake and happy about the debate.
And over the moon about childless cat lady Taylor Swifts awesome endorsement of Kamala and Tim.
And then watching Tims reaction when Rachel
read Taylors endorsement and praising him.
Then, as I was shutting down YouTube on my iPad, another video popped up. It was Season 7, Episode 1 of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee "Just Tell Him You're The President" with Jerry Seinfeld and then-President Obama driving around in a 1963 silver blue corvette.
Watched the entire hilarious 20 minutes.
Now Im ready to sleep and dream happy dreams. 😴
Hope all DUers have a lovely and peaceful slumber tonight cause, thanks to Kamala, we are not going back!!
Ever!!!!

No, I will sleep well - if she hadn't done well, that would have lost me sleep.

(36,946 posts)Our 44th tomorrow (the 11th). Queer couples have way too many anniversaries. The 10th is the day our marriage was taken under the care of our faith community. The 11th is the date of our common law marriage, likely the legal date of our marriage post-Obergefell, since Ohio recognized common law marriages in 1981 - and we met all of the criteria aside from the gender criteria.

(27 posts)Watched a lot of it on my phone in the back while serving clueless tables (how could you not be watching this?? Oh... European tourists) Then home to see the analysis on TV. It's too early to sleep!! But soon I will pass out from emotional exhaustion.

(97,733 posts)But the analysis afterward made us all feel joyous.
Michael Steele: She beat his ass! Tim from the Bulwark followed Lindsay Graham ( my old friend ) around the press room/spin room and sounds like they had a rather fierce spat, w/ Lindsay telling Tim he ought to be ashamed of himself and Tim telling Lindsay likewise and Lindsay saying this was disastrous and the whole debate team should be fired.
It was grand to listen to professionals who maintain enough distance from their emotions to be, well, analytical. They provided the juiciest clips.
Must go to bed, tho. I have to get up at 5a.m. to have my second cataract surgery.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
