This week on Across the Desk, Kit Fairchild talks about a 'non-partisan' group that only has GOP state treasures and auditors as members called State Financial Officers Foundation (SFOF). Which Oklahoma's state auditor, Cindy Byrd is on the board of and Todd Russ is a member, have been caught in a pay-to-play scheme where they give certain companies privilege depending on how much they have donated to the GOP lead group. Now an organization, Campaign for Accountability, has formally requested that the SEC look into and investigate the possible pay-to-play actions of the SFOF of which Oklahoma's state auditor and treasurer have deep ties.
