USA TODAY

Rant-filled rallies, an unpopular VP and lies, lies, lies: Trump just had his worst week yet
Former President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign capped off a gobsmackingly disastrous week by letting its flawed and aging candidate hold a make-believe “press conference” at his New Jersey golf resort.
The subject, was … maybe something about food prices? Or the economy? Or possibly something about birds getting killed by windmills?
It didn’t really matter. Trump delivered an epic rant-a-thon, nearly two hours of pure, uncut lies, weird tangents and whining ‒ then took a handful of questions, most from pro-Trump outlets basically asking the Republican presidential nominee to explain how he got to be so awesome.

about his base and feels the need to shore it up. I think he's given up completely on widening his appeal and figures he'll rely on base turnout and cheating.Watching him, I don't think it's dementia...he's just insufferable and obnoxious.

That this week in Trump’s presidential campaign hasn’t sent GOP donors fleeing is shocking. That this week of hearing Trump dissemble relentlessly and chatter disjointedly hasn’t led the political press in America to write story after story questioning Trump's mental state and capacity is an indictment on the industry.

But they’re also doing the public a great disservice by pretending he is a normal candidate.

The media is piling on Trump right now and it's all too easy to do because of the normal and hopeful campaign Harris and Walz are running.

The contrast between the Harris and Biden event yesterday where they talked about what they've done for the American people and what they will do was stark with Trump's 2 hour grievance filled rant where he talked about Windmills and Tik-Taks.

So CNN, MSNBC, USA Today, and several other outlets are now covering Trump like the sideshow he is rather than a serious person. He sounds more and more ridiculous daily. And he's desperate because he knows he's losing.

I think harris can really land a big blow if the DNC next week is hopeful and fact filled like it will be. Trump is already reeling and desperate, he will fall further behind.

Now a lot of people think Trump shouldn't be covered as much as he is, but right now, every time he speaks, Harris gains, so it's going well.

Soon enough his mental state will deteriorate to the point that only goo-goo-gaa-gaa baby talk gibberish comes forth.

Halfway there now.

The ensuing silence from Trump and the MSM supporters will be bliss!

Quite delusional to think he is a politician or a candidate for the Top Job though.

Got to ask . . . WHY?
