A time and a place for everything...

Is it time for Donald Trump to go?

For nine years, he has either corrupted the soul of America or he has exposed the soul of America? "People hear what they want to hear and disregard the rest"...

In a most depressing way, he exposed an ignorant, racist, misogynist, hateful America that shocked many then-naive Americans. His lies stirred the fires of division and hatred.

It is time for him to go. It is time for America to try and heal itself from this terrible pox.

It is time for the first woman President.

And she has the qualities to help this nation heal, in my opinion.

It surprises me how more than a few of my neighbors, some family members, and business people I know believe what Trump tells them and ignore or refuse to see the truth of who this man is and what he actually stands for. Yes, there are many ignorant, racist, greedy, self-centered and just plain stupid people living in this country but the amount of Trump supporters is mind boggling to me. Its not the America and values that were instilled in me; by my parents, by my teachers and in my church while growing up to be a decent member of society.

And I believe most of these folks are ignorant to what is happening around them? However, ignorance of the law is no excuse. But ignorance may be preferable to backstabbing, dirty dealing, rumor-mongering, lying and manipulative alternatives?
