I'm not sure I get the beard focus, though. So many people with facial hair are on the left and center. It seems like an unproductive line of attack for us.

Vance was a corporal in the Marines, Walz was a Sergeant Major in the Army National Guard.

Going to be a weird dynamic for a corporal to try to disrespect the highest rank for an enlisted man he's ever encountered.I know it's different branches, but still.

I say this because I work with a lot of ex military. A good friend was a Captain in the Air Force, and he has people we've worked with who were under his command in the Air Force, he mentored some and helped them follow him here. Those guys are good friends and there is a lot of crap talking between them for fun, buit whenever the crap hits the fan, they start calling him sir.

Command Sergeant Major is a big effing deal to any enlisted man. It will be interesting to see how Vance treats it.
