(20,709 posts)The fact of the matter is that guns are far more frequently used to intimidate or harm women than they are used to defend women. If you were concerned about violence against women you would advocate for stricter gun laws, rather than pushing NRA propaganda.

(2,163 posts)What is wrong with you ?
Did you even read the information.
There is no promotion of guns unless the woman clearly thinks it out.
It has a lot of safety tips.

(20,709 posts)You are a gungeon regular, whose contributions to DU consist of posting right-wing pro-gun propaganda in one of the few places on DU where right-wingers don't even need to pretend to be Democrats.
The fact of the matter -- and this is something that has been studied quite a bit -- is that women victims of domestic abuse are among the groups that suffer the most from gun violence. To use the pretext of rape and self-defense to push a pro-gun agenda is sick, typical of what I would expect from an NRA member who repeats Wayne Lapierre talking points verbatim.

(2,163 posts)As for the who is a gungeon regular.
On your profile 60 % of your posts are in the gungeon.
Sorry My mistake 64% of your posts are in gungeon
Mine are 15%
You are the one who has an obsession with guns not I.
There is something seriously wrong with your obsession and I wish I could help you.

(9,761 posts)In my case a gun would not have helped. No way would I shoot family or a fellow officer.
I did take a butcher knife from the kitchen once but it was taken away from me easily. I was six then. Didn't try that again. At six I don't think I would have been able to use a weapon either.
The link doesn't discuss weapons that I saw?
On edit.. I didn't look at the left side of the page.. I looked only at the info highlighted on the page linked to. Apologies.
