Editing to link to a 2022 article about this from an Ohio newspaper:
https://ohiocapitaljournal.com/2022/04/19/americas-hitler-old-j-d-vance-message-turns-up-in-heated-senate-primary/
A state representative from Georgia has thrown a wrench into what was supposed to be something of a coronation for Republican U.S. Senate candidate J.D. Vance. After securing former President Trumps endorsement last week, Vance was set to campaign with Trumps son Don Jr. before Trump himself visits Ohio this weekend.
Like Vance, Rep. Josh McLaurin, D-Sandy Springs, went to Yale for law school, and the two lived together for a time. Monday, McLaurin shared an apparent screenshot of a conversation they had in February of 2016.
-snip-
In the tweet, McLaurin said the public deserves to know the magnitude of this guys bad faith.
In a statement, Vance campaign manager Jordan Wiggins dismissed the image as old news.

(2,443 posts)3. I wonder how many people like to be called lower-educated.
Forget about the Hitler comment for a second. He insulted most of the GOP base. That needs to go viral. They flipped out when Hillary called the deplorables. How is this any different?

(5,836 posts)4. This... among many other things he said before he swallowed trump's member
will make for some fantastic campaign ad material.
Hopefully Biden's campaign staff will not shy away from doing so. Kamila will for sure kick his ass with it if the two sit down for a debate, which is fairly unlikely, in my opinion.

(65,590 posts)6. I have the feeling that Kamila will "have him for lunch" in a debate.
She's a perfect foil for him. I also have the feeling that he won't know what hit him after that debate...

(5,836 posts)8. I have a feeling that they'll never debate. Hope I'm wrong about that.
