Joy Reid interview tonight with Brittney Griner

This is really an interesting and touching interview. I'd never heard of Brittney before she was imprisoned in Russia and I didn't know much more than that afterward.

I hope everyone who gets a chance to watch this interview, does. She really sounds like a special person.

1. I watched it. I teared up when she talked about her relationship with her dad

And how she feels she brought shame to their name. I am so happy she has the love of her dad and the rest of her family. So glad we were able to bring her home. I hope we get Evan and all the others back soon.

This whole ordeal also highlights the inequities in pay. Male players in their prime are not going to dangerous places to make a living.
