My little amusement for the day: As I was wandering over to produce

at my King Sooper's this morning, I walked past a conversation that apparently concluded with, "It's all Biden's fault, letting in all those immigrants!" (something about supply chain issues, I gathered). As I came even with her, I muttered (loudly) "fucking idiot!" She beamed at me and said, "I agree!" I shook my head, and said, "No, I meant YOU!" She walked off in a huff. I did not see her the rest of the time that I was in the store.

I was in a great deal of pain, and, therefore, had even less patience than usual for the few idiots I encounter in my little, slightly bluer, enclave.

Just remember one thing: they're counting on you remaining silent. That's why they're so loud and seemingly ever-present. They're trying to fill up the public space so there's no room for you. And then they can claim they own the room. And they can grow power and influence that way.

That's why WE must NOT stay silent. How 'bout WE crowd up what they think is THEIR space, for a change!

10. i i feel for ya. this winter for me i have been really hurting as it is a deep cold wet and humid .

i ran into somone on easter spouting stuff and i said i have a bible right here and then she started spouting lies about the constitution and i said i have a pocket constitution her. she mentioned the fallacy about the usa being a christian nation and i mentioned the treaty of tripoli sec 11. and friend went and looked it up. never went any further.

How we gonna deal with all the jobs that every company seems to be complaining they cant fill without immigration?

Why did trump nuke the bipartisan immigration deal?

How many generations back did your family immigrate here? Would they be legal under today's modified immigration rules?

Why do we allow hiring illegal immigrants where they get fines that are less than the difference to hire legal immigrants?

How many immigrants do you work with/around, and how much do you depend on them as hard workers?


The anti immigrant crowd rarely has an answer to any of those questions that doesn't lead to a fair amount of internal discord.
