It's official: Mitt's Vote is down to 47.49 Percent
by Spider Stumbled

From the Twitter feed of Dave Waserman.....

Mitt Romney is down to 47.49%.

Rounded down............47%!

Salt...wound
Wound...Salt.

From Dave Waserman's Twitter Feed:

First... CA: Los Angeles County reports 45,326 new @BarackObama votes, 12,469 @MittRomney

Then... And with that, the moment many have been waiting for has arrived. @MittRomney drops to 47.49% of the popular vote:

I know it's a meaningless milestone but I've been savoring the Schadenfreude for almost 3 weeks and this may be the last bit for a while...

Yeah, I've been on kind of a bliss-out since Election Night. That, plus general lack of sleep and now all the turkey we've been eating for several days now.

I too have been savoring it. Just savoring it! It's the sweetest victory! One of the sweetest Election Nights EVER!!!

Largest city. Heavily Latino, Asian and AA. Heavily Dem, especially in the city and suburbs.

Oh, how sweet the irony )

About a week ago they still had not counted about 300,000 votes meaning there was a long shot chance of the Dem picking up the Senate seat if the provisional ballots get counted. There is a very real chance of huge voter disenfranchisement of Hispanic voters in Maracopa County because the Hispanics were routinely sent to the provisional ballot line (the absurd claim was that they didn't come to the polls prepared to vote).

Rob-me looks like he'll finish with 47% of the vote...SWEET .... Nothing like that 47% following him and Queen Ann around the rest of their lives ......

Rob-me IS a loser, and so is the Rethuglican/Teahadist party. The party of NO. The party who hates minorities, children, women, the poor, the elderly. The party who hates civil rights, and the environment. And, the hatred and down-right racist things they say about the 2-time ELECTED President, it's KILLING them that the POTUS won with a MANDATE and with the Popular vote. Many of them say unabashedly that they're angrier than a nest of bees that there's an African-American in what they call "Their" White House. SAD. That party STILL thinks it's 1812 and not 2012. Bad that we can't have 2 parties, but I could care less if both the Rethugs/Teahadists explode . The Republican moderates of the party are almost GONE, only to be replaced by far, far right-winged nut-cases like Ted Cruz (TX), whose even crazier than a Tea Bagger. After Olympia Snowe is gone, Susan Collins will be the only moderate LEFT in that party, and if she runs again, I'm sure the Rethugs will more than likely run a Tea Bagger against her and IF she loses, there will be NO moderates left in that party. It's scary to think there will more than likely be a party of extremists on the right-side of the isle , but OH WELL, that's THEM...
