The Lawyer that Trump deserved to have defending him in the Carrol case...

(Gotta love the unintended foreshadowing, with the "Coach" star as the prosecuting attorney years before "Coach" was created, and the final line of his opening statement:

"Let's make THIS our 'goal-line stand'! " lol)

(( And if you have never seen this movie, the clip is definitely worth your time---
afterwards you are guaranteed to want to see the whole thing.....))

Thanks for the post...

IMHO, this is one of the best courtroom scenes in the history of Cinema....I think Al Pacino should have won over Dustin Hoffman (Kramer Vrs. Kramer)..

Even if rather improbable....

Somewhere 'way back in the old days', I have heard that many lawyers needed to believe in their client's case, before they would take it....

Obviously that has no longer been true for quite a long time---
but with the Trump cases, it has gone "beyond the pale"---
and lawyers handling Trump's cases are being disbarred for promoting conspiracy theories in court...

Kramer vs. Kramer was more of a forgettable "date movie". I did see it.... but recall very little about it, and never had any burning desire to see it again--- and indeed never have! Don't recall any burning "acting" in it either, comparable to this....

Oh well. "Commercial success" obviously won out, that time...

Doubts that life would imitate art with this mess.
