Flour was sold out everywhere, forget buying paper towels, the oil commodities collapsed, job loss was historic, ICUs were full, schools went remote, airline travel industry collapsed, tourist industry collapsed . . . You could go on.

Meanwhile in March when it was clear not enough (essentially nothing) had been done to restrict the virus and it would become a pandemic, Trump didn’t prepare the country, he pretended everything was great. He had 4+ months to prepare.

Remember his efforts to keep the cruise ship full of American citizens from entering a US port because it would increase the number of US Covid cases and make him look bad?

He needs to go away forever as soon as possible.

The "richest" country's numbers compared to Canada's responsible ones (based on Science):

Over 200 preventable deaths per 100K more than in the single-payer country up north...

Seems like millions of right-wingers forgot and will still forget on November 5 thanks to corporate medias.

Reagan famously asked during the Carter debate, "Are you better off now than you were four years ago?" Every Republican presidential candidate since has used the line, whether it makes sense, or not.

The myths that "Republicans are good for the economy" and "tax and spend Democrats run up deficits and create recessions" took off with Reagan. So did the myths that Republicans are real Americans, they're more patriotic and moral, display traditional christian family values and are the party of personal responsibility.

In a sane world, Biden wouldn't need to campaign on anything other than this.

Trump 2024 - You're gonna need a bigger trench.

is doing much better. Biden inherited a sinking ship. Patched it up and now it's a freaking giant cruise ship. My own bad analogy LoL. The US is doing better than most of the world, with inflation, economic growth, ect. I wish the Dems could get that message out much better.

confident you know what the response will be.

In this case, maybe not.

'Were we better off then?' would make a great set of ads comparing then with now just to show the contrast.
