We watched "Lincoln" this week

I got home and googled some things. Lincoln took office in March 1861. On the following month, The Civil War officially began.

This makes Lincoln the worst president, as well as the most divisive in history, according to today's Republican way of thinking. The fact that war was brewing before he was in office is not relevant. It's not about what you inherit. It's about what happens on your watch. Right?

This big government solution is oppressive. Didn't Lincoln know that the plantation owners were the nation's job creators? "Emancipation" is just another word for Socialism.
