I sent a letter to the president today.

Dear Mr. President,

I remember when President Kennedy created the President's Council on Physical Fitness. I am writing to ask you to consider creating a similar council on democracy.

High school kids would participate in exit polling. Elementary kids would learn about voter suppression and the Voting Rights Act.

I think it would alleviate a lot of angst about not witnessing clean elections.

Thank you,

2. Thank you so much for the links.

I was not aware of Justice O'Connor's work. She is sorely missed on the court.

And I can't express how glad I am to have Rep. Grayson back, and with a HUGE margin. Woot!
