"Angertainment" is all Rs have to offer

Perfect term for what we see from them and what their knuckle-dragging base wants. It's really base and juvenile but it motivates and entertains them. They have no idea what government is supposed to do or how they ALL benefit from it so they are easy to manipulate with angertainment.

I need to credit Ron Filipkowski on twitter with this term. He is one of the only people I still read on twitter. In some ways, following or reading him occasionally is more productive than MSNBC and certainly CNN, He calls Rs out and the comments to his posts are often hilarious.

"Angertainment"! Isn't it perfect? Think of that next time you see MTG or Boebert or Stefanik or whoever.

I had previously referred to “outrage du jour” for the cult’s disposition.

They just need some anger to focus on “the others” in order to keep the cult focused on something.

Since they are basically against everything not on the daily menu, “nice, nice” won’t do.

Just anger of one sort or another.
