2,032 wounded, an average of 1.7 per day.

*mass shooting defined as four or more killed or wounded, including the gunman.

homicides & suicides. almost 48,000 dead in 2022. no other nation comes close, although smaller nations (Jamaica) have higher rates of homicide.

considering the sheer number of semi-automatic weapons in circulation in the US, it's amazing that the numbers aren't higher.
