It was weird this year. Since we got paper ballots and lost our status as a battleground state (funny how that worked out), elections have been downright mellow, signs at exit ramps all for local elections.

(64,995 posts)Those signs were off people's lawns the very next morning. Pretty committed to it, to a point. They support Romney in a state where you KNOW he won't win (Illinois) but then bail on public support the next day before the sun comes up.

(5,477 posts)Three of her neighbors on the cul de sac had Rmoney signs in their yards, and all three were removed before the morning after the election.
Maybe they were ashamed?

(24,461 posts)I don't see how even the worst masochist could bind themselves to a platform that, when not displaying full-on hatred for the workers, the elderly and the poor of this country, was so heavy on "bait and switch" and "sell the mystery, not the mastery" sales technique.

(4,465 posts)My next door neighbor took his from the end of his driveway and put it up near his front porch. A neighbor down the street left his sign where it stood and the day after the election put out a giant America Flag, hung upside down. lol. wonder how long they'll leave it out there.
