If it comes down to it, I will fight alongside those being oppressed. I am old and would be more of a liability than an asset in battle, but if I take down just one nazi bastard, it’d be worthwhile.

Also: unmarried women, employed women, pregnant women, women on birth control, women with degrees - basically all women who aren't living as Trumpsters think they should are at risk. Definitely atheists. Pagans. Urban dwellers. Anybody who seems woke.

I am concerned enough that I've considered moving away from the MAGAs where I live.

I am a white female in my 70s. I live in a senior apartment complex of 3 multi-storied buildings. Most of my neighbors are ultra conservative RW Trump supporters. The businesses in the area (2 individually owned convenience stores, a novelty shop) are owned by RW gun carriers. They know that I am a Democrat who opposes Trump and that I go to a liberal church that supports inclusion and has sponsored refugees. I would be an isolated prime target if the fascists gain power.

I will stand with any group that fights fascists, but I cannot fight them alone when everyone around me supports them. So I have been recently checking out other places to move to.

Mum owns a place in Mexico, with absolutely spectacular weather as a draw, but my (also liberal and increasingly fearful) stepsister has hinted recently that she wants company when she and her husband retire to Costa Rica, namely the company of my husband and me. They've lived there before, a definite plus for getting set properly, and their Spanish is way better than ours will ever be.

Oh, yeah, anti-Semitism is the real gift to those who would divide and rule.

So, yeah, I will have NO part of it, and anyone who tries it in my presence will get pushback. And any attempts to escalate it politically and culturally will get my pushback, up to and including heaving my aging body into the gears of the machine if necessary.

I think Chump is unhinged in many ways, but I don't think he's anti-semitic. Yes he's a racist, and he also hates and fears most women. Especially the ones he can't control.

But Jewish people are a different story. Jewish people are his partners, his "friends," his supporters, his donors, even his own daughter and son-in-law. Chump knows a lot of Jews and I don't think he hates them or even dislikes them. His nasty tweets are happening because he recognizes that the MAGA minions - at least some of them - are anti-semitic and he plays to that when he blows his dogwhistle.
