Rudy Giuliani Attacks Georgia Election Workers Again
This boy ain't no rocket surgeon.
While discussing the funding behind a defamation lawsuit brought against him, Rudy Giuliani appeared to reference the two plaintiffs, Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, as 'two women in Atlanta that threw people out and counted the ballots in private in violation of Georgia law.' On August 30th, Judge Howell entered a default judgment against Giuliani in the defamation case filed against him by Georgia election workers Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, finding him liable. Giuliani is currently awaiting a ruling on potential damages. https://www.meidastouch.com/news/rudy-giuliani-attacks-georgia-election-workers-again

1. The meter is running, Rudy, on how much you will have to pay.
If he keeps running off his mouth. E Jean Carroll was paying attention when PO1135809 defamed her after a Jury found him liable in a Civil Suit. He has to pay even more.

13. I am not sure of a new warrant or if they will just request more damages, I don't
think they have yet determined the dollar amount. Maybe he has no money so he doesn't care?

4. It seems like what Giuliani projects was countered in the court case
https://casetext.com/case/freeman-v-giuliani
Georgia Public Broadcasting also published an article reporting that the Edited Video merely “showed a normal tabulation process, which both state and county officials had verified,” and further explained “that no observers had been asked to leave, but Republican monitors and the press did leave when some election employees stopped their work for the night.” Id. ¶ 43; see also id. ¶ 45 (explaining that an article published by PolitiFact, a nonprofit website that checks the accuracy of claims made by elected officials and others, corroborated the conclusions of Georgia Public Broadcasting). |

12. once the judgement is entered rudy will try and avoid paying
hess appeal and appeal and then file bankruptcy
what shoudl happen is freeman and moss shoudl get a judgement to seize his assets. and the bankruptcy judge should com eupwith a restructructuring plan for rudy that basically leaves him in poverty. take every other dollar of his until freeman and moss are made whole from his defamation. i dont mean money wise. until the defamation and the threats agianst them end. (which i know will be never so he gets a life of poverty) |

16. Not all lawsuits can be cleared with bankruptcy
If the judge puts a lien on his assets to pay the debt, that can't be discharged through bankruptcy.
And I'd be curious to see if a bankruptcy judge wouldn't hammer him for his fines being related to a judgment against him for committing acts under fraudulent or false pretenses, and for those committed due to willful and malicious injury. After all, why did he go after the Freemans, if not to perpetuate election fraud? The way he went after them was to defame them, and defamation by its very nature is a willful and malicious injury, because it requires demonstrating malice aforethought. Not to mention how he couldn't be bothered to obey judge's orders to provide documentation in the defamation case. I think he's stupid enough to blow off a bankruptcy judge, too. Problem: Bankruptcy judges don't like it when you blow them off about things like documentation or court orders. They don't like it anymore than the defamation judge liked it. Just like the judge in his defamation case, bankruptcy judges make the call on what gets paid to whom, and what doesn't. So if you don't cough up documentation or violate court orders, the judge can tell you, too bad, so sad, pay up. Do you think Ghouliani's learned since the last case that he's not above obeying a judge's orders? I don't. I'm ready to bet that a bankruptcy judge won't rule in his favor, because Ghouliani won't be able to resist being a know-it-all prat. |

24. Intentional torts are not dischargable in bankruptcy
The judgment is for defamation, an intentional tort. He cannot discharge it regardless of whether a lien is entered right now by the judge.
If he tries to give away assets to avoid paying, there are claw back remedies. |

19. Giuliani concedes he made false statements (July)
July 26, 202312:03 PM ET
By Jaclyn Diaz ... In a declaration signed by Giuliani, he acknowledges that he made statements that "carry meaning that is defamatory per se" and that those comments were "actionable" and "false." This declaration also stipulates that Giuliani "believes that he has legal defenses" to the lawsuit and wants to "avoid unnecessary expenses in litigating what he believes to be unnecessary disputes." He also said he believes his statements were constitutionally protected ... https://www.npr.org/2023/07/26/1190173929/rudy-giuliani-georgia-election-workers |

22. May have made his legal problems worse
BY JAMES BICKERTON ON 9/14/23 AT 7:49 AM EDT
Rudy Giuliani risked fresh legal trouble on Wednesday when he accused two Georgia election workers, whom a judge had concluded he had defamed, of having "thrown people out and counted the ballots in private" during the 2020 presidential election. The former New York mayor was part of Donald Trump's legal team as he allegedly sought to overturn the 2020 election outcome, based on discredited conspiracy theories claiming the vote was rigged. In August, Giuliani was one of 18 Trump associates charged alongside the former president over claims they broke the law trying to block Joe Biden's election win in Georgia. He has pled not guilty to 13 counts, describing the case as an "attack on the American people." On August 30, Judge Beryl Howell found that Giuliani had defamed two Georgia election workers, Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, with a ruling on potential damages expected shortly. Giuliani had admitted to making "false" statements about the two women, who were employed by the Fulton County Board of Elections in 2020, but insisted he was "constitutionally protected" under the First Amendment. Following the election, Giuliani shared a video which incorrectly suggested Freeman and Moss had been altering ballots ... https://www.newsweek.com/rudy-giuliani-may-have-just-made-his-legal-problems-worse-1826945 |
