One based in reality, facts, science.

The other one totally detached from everything real.

It's amazing, isn't it?

Ex: "Your hard drive is shot...in fact, it's not even spinning...the heads have scraped the disks and there's no simple way to get any data (Pictures, documents) off the disk"

"Well, there must be SOME WAY to find my pictures...can't to find them somewhere in the computer"

I explain to the customer the workings of a computer and how ALL data is stored on the drive.

"I understand but there HAS TO BE A WAY to get my pictures from the computer"

"The disks are scratched...your stuff is gone."

"I hear what you're saying but there HAS TO BE....etc"

Bluejazz (in my mind) bangs my head against the wall 47 times.

These are people who don't vote in their own best interest, they are idyllic voters who are voting on single issues such as abortion, gut rights or against gay rights.

Then they are sold the myth of the American Dream, that they too will someday have the chance to be rich. Everyone can become rich, right? They want to believe in the fantasy that they will be able to motor around the bay in a big yacht just like this guy:
