The social media theatre of the absurd is mocked in Courts of Law, Truth already has its pants on.

There is no need to catch up, it’s now the other way around…where Lies are laid bare, pants are prohibited!

It’s no lie to state the sole function of a criminal court trial is is to unearth only one thing…Truth. …jury are the masters of the Truth, the Jurist the Master of the Law. Isn’t it a magnificent system? The struggle to find the truth results from the conflict between prosecution and defence. It’s a system well honed by time and precedent.

A criminal trial is so much unlike a Twitter…this is all going to both educate and shock folks of the MAGA variety out of their trance, and others out of Twitter level knowledge of the rule of law…it’s already happening.

The Defendant didn’t get a dozen competitions for nomination because he’s omnipotent. On the contrary. That’s one man’s sad fantasy…The Emperor of Tweets and Terrorism has lost his pants! The Law eats fantasies and defendants with no pants on lunch break.

The J6 Committee was like a dress rehearsal where the stage had not yet been set…now the stage belongs to the Rule of Law, directed act by act by a professional of the highest calibre. Even a biased jurist is defenceless when the currency of law, Evidence, is overwhelming and the Procedure set in only slightly pliable stone.

In Law I Trust. Is there really any other choice in a functioning democracy?

Repugs get auto eliminated from investigations, those are only for Dems. Cannon is a HUGE threat to democracy.

some aid in delay…which runs up against the speedy trial laws…lots of protective laws to counter rouge jurists.

I am almost 100% sure that is her plan. Smith needs to file for recusal as soon as she makes her first bad move, which will certainly happen based on her previous sycophantic giving tfg everything he asks for.

Doesn’t work that way…the scotus precedent does not establish a trial judge as dictator over facts and jury.

many of our friends in the DU community are hesitant to get their hopes up. I am fully confident that the defendent will be convicted, and the verdict will not be oberturned on appeal. I also get why there has been some harsh opinions expressed about the DOJ after a recent WP article. Last night I wrote an essay that I was thinking of posting on this forum, explaining why I respect AG Garland -- I do not expect perfection, and thus rank him high among AGs in my long life-time. And addressing why it took "so long" to identify the defendent as a person of interest in the J6 investigations.

Also she's probably being paid big bucks by someone, but of course that is just conjecture about why she previously shot herself in the foot with this case - TWICE!
