Much as with Jack Texeireia, she was someone who nobody would recognize and who had little to lose if she ran. And the government regarded her as flight risk. Not only the district court, but the court of appeals agreed.

Not equivalent to Trump, who is one of the most widely recognizable persons on the planet, has a lot to lose if he took off, has secret service observing his movements, and was not regarded as a flight risk by the government.

And winter was charged, rightly or wrongly, not only with removing classified information but also with disseminating it, while Trump, as yet, has only been charged with retention, not dissemination, of classified information.

Not every situation is the same as every other situation.
