What did that guy in the audience yell while Prick Erry was defending the corpse pissers?

I usually feel a few IQ points dumber after listening to these debates, but JesusFuckingChrist what is wrong with these debate audiences? Its like they're only sending invites out on Free Republic and Stormfront or something.

The GOP has absolutely NOTHING to offer in this election except HATE.

the only thing that stimulates him is more cruelty.

He talked about how one of his children was working at 13. What he left out is that she probably had to work because he didn't pay child support. One of his wives had to sue him for unpaid support.

I also just read that Newt (previously married himself) filed for divorce from his 2nd wife on the grounds that she had been married previously. That pretty much sums up his hypocrisy.

did you have to get some type of permission? Other than in home babysitting, I would think in most states a 13 year old wouldn't even qualify for the permit - it's 14 in my state, AFAIK.

...but they are also the part of the country that seceded from the union over the issue of 'states rights' but of course it was all about slavery.

Slavery has not been an issue in nearly 150 years and no one has advocated that we return to that practice. Racism, hate and bigotry are not unique to the southern states.

I mean, I sort of expect liberals, of all people, to reject the "sins of the fathers" arguments about moral judgments. Why, just look at how much good Talia al-Ghul does with those recycle programs. So it might make sense to fault southerners for displaying the Rebel battle flag (pro-slavery, pro-racism, and poor etiquette all around) but I don't think more than a tiny fraction would actually support actual secession. It's about as serious a problem as those liberals who keep saying they'll leave the country if R.Money (or Bush or Dole or McCain or Bush or Bush) gets elected president.

Think, for example, of the Fight/Flight response.

The Republican "message" is all about fear and hatred of terrorists, blacks (not to mention blah people), Socialists (with a capital S--whoever THEY are), gays, etc.

It's been that way at least since Nixon, who ran against the dreaded Hippies (of which tribe I am one of the surviving members).

There isn't a base here for the hatred to be anything more than a small minority who get overwhelmed when they try their nonsense in public.

They don't have a voting block and while OC may be right and religious more than most places, the state is too big and open minded.

What part of Ca do you live in? I'm just north of the SFV.
