for answering questions from reporters. He had that sparkle in his eye that he reserves for repugs who do the bare minimum to appear normal. He wants them to succeed so badly. Of course as he continued to interview someone who knows something about economics from Moody's, Kevin's little moment didn't appear so laudable anymore. Turns out it's Kevin who started this whole thing. But obviously, CNN and most other newsreaders are just dying to give him credit for ending it.

(27,594 posts)Interestingly, I heard him interviewed on Canadian radio (CBC) once and he sounded like a totally different person (he had just written a novel). He apparently has a bunch of relatives in Winnipeg - that surprised me - who he likes to visit. He sounded, well, Canadian. He seemed way nicer. Maybe he was playing to the Canadian audience, which means he had to be less confrontational. CBC is a good source for news because the broadcasters just report what people say, they don't they and correct it.

He likes to get his jabs in, but I don't believe he's a Trumper

(90,600 posts)withdrawal. The virulent hyperbole and disdain directed toward President Biden was beyond any legitimate reporting of the news, and was when I stopped watching CNN
No doubt with their new CEO it cant be getting better over there
