Tucker had the highest ratings at Fox, it has something to do with the Dominion lawsuits. They too were spreading these lies about the election.

(1,654 posts)It will be interesting to see what shakes out. The election denying may change a bit but Fox will still be Fox and won't get me to watch it.

(92,122 posts)I think your assessment is way off
Multiple Democratic Congress people have death threats directly attributed to his rhetoric
McCarthy supplying Carlson the Jan 6th tapes is outrageous, and puts peoples lives at risk

(24,449 posts)Hannity, Ingraham, and Baritomo are all likely candidates....I think Fox is finally realizing that a culture of liars and propagandists might not be great for future earnings. Maybe there will be a new start-up called the Republican News Network that will hire Tucker and the rest to continue carrying the water for the Republican Party.

I'm popping a bottle later and taking a win where I can get one realizing...

(94,493 posts)Fox is still responsible for Carlson's on-air statements, and he's still subject to being called to testify. In fact, kicking him to the curb might increase the likelihood that he validates Fox's managerial culpability on the stand.

(3,316 posts)i believe faux already believes they will loose. It is just a matter of how much. With recent maneuvers they can indicate that they have already taken steps to self correct. Not a bad argument.

(21,846 posts)Not only does she have a lawsuit that implicates Tucker, she also was involved in showing that Fox improperly failed to produce documents. The Special master handling the discovery violations in the Dominion lawsuit is still working on it. That part of the Dominion lawsuit is still ongoing. I wonder whether Tucker withheld the tapes and other things from the attorneys in the Dominion lawsuit.
Lots of blame to go around.
