(16,308 posts)The charges that will come out of Georgia and the DOJ will be even more serious than these NY charges.

(11,824 posts)And I was pretty confident of multiple indictments back then.
And the odds of the Pope being Catholic haven't changed since then. So yeah, I feel pretty good about it today.

(22,530 posts)He committed election crimes in other states too that could indict. Not being talked about as much, but its more than GA that could indict.

(3,557 posts)One of the articles I read stated they were looking at 30 different charges.
I think the indictment will be much bigger than just the Stormy Daniels thing. They were also looking into him inflating and deflating the values of his property to both get more favorable loans from banks and to decrease his tax burden.
The Stormy part might not stick, but I think there is more to this indictment than that.

(39,131 posts)because so few of us remember that.
But of course, more indictments are coming.
I figure federal indictments have to come 90 days prior to the first primary... so, November is what I'm thinking.

(55,334 posts)The Georgia charges on election and criminal solicitation charges is probably going to lead to other people being investigated in charged. The election conspiracy was far far bigger than the hush money payoffs, which were a relatively discreet event involving a small circle of confederates.
The federal charges on illegal classified document possession and obstruction justice employed in the cover-up is certain to net a few Trump circle inside characters. There's already one lawyer who's coming clean and I'm sure she's flippable. Trump seems uniquely talented at recruiting potential backstabbers onto his team.
But it's the overall fake elector and incitement to riot schemes that are the biggest activities and the ones that could lead to a bottomless pit of co-conspirators in need of indictment.
I originally wanted to give you a quick little answer. But the sheer volume of the former president's criminal enterprises takes a while to contemplate. For instance, we haven't even seen investigations and indictments start on the influence peddling and leveraging of government positions to solicit bribes and insider contract deals. That garden variety type of corruption rarely gets the spotlight it deserves. But that's the real meat and potatoes of how the love of money perverts our democracy
