A new report on Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) provided further detail on his well-documented struggles with personal public engagement, a quirk that reportedly includes unorthodox table manners.

“He would sit in meetings and eat in front of people,” a former DeSantis staffer told The Daily Beast, “always like a starving animal who has never eaten before… getting shit everywhere.”

Enshrined in DeSantis lore is an episode from four years ago: During a private plane trip from Tallahassee to Washington, D.C., in March of 2019, DeSantis enjoyed a chocolate pudding dessert—by eating it with three of his fingers, according to two sources familiar with the incident.

A representative for DeSantis’ political team did not return a request for comment on it.

DeSantis loads vulnerable migrant families into planes and dumps them off in cities on a lark to gain political points with racists. He deserves whatever he gets. I agree kids should be off limits but his own habits are game due to his lack of respect for the poorest members of society.

I lived in the Keys for years, and I would dearly love to see someone go down to the docks in Stock Island and tell the shrimpers there that they're wearing "go-go" boots.

Though, as I think of it, most shrimpers are much too young to even know what "go-go" boots are. Hell, that's even before MY time, and I'm no spring chicken.

But the references to "go-go" boots and pictures of him photoshopped on to a cheerleader outfit are so blatantly obvious in their inference. Yet, that is always allowed here for some reason.
