It is GUNZ. Motive? Meh. Mental health issues? Meh. IT IS GUNZ.
MSNBC, and presumably all other cabalnooz, are yakking about where the Michigan killer bought the gun. Now they have "notes" that may talk to motive. All good things to know ABOUT THIS SHOOTING.
Not talking about the fundamental issue - GUNZ. Come on NOOZFOLKS. Do some long-form reporting in the hours you need to fill. Talk about GUNZ. Maybe instead of Hunter Biden Balloons and the Chinese laptops? context: MSNBC at 10.30am, Feb 16.

Sorry for the flippant headline, but it's important to realize the grim reality of where we stand in this.
Short of a time machine, there is no effective solution to the glut of guns in this country. There's 400 to 500 million guns in this country but we don't know exactly how many. We don't know who owns how many and which ones. Very few would hand them over voluntarily if we did know. State and local government won't cooperate in red areas - where most of the guns are. Given the many instances of cowardice by law enforcement, we lack the ability to enforce a ban. Guns are simple mechanical devices, and home built guns are a growing problem - and a huge challenge to actually removing guns from society Given the composition of Congress, plus SCOTUS and the Bruen ruling's fallout, passing even an assault rifle ban is not possible - and those existing at the state level could be overturned soon based on the Bruen scrutiny test. In short - we're fucked. The reality of the situation is so grim it's hard to tell the difference between an honest assessment and actual pessimism. Any change will be incremental and take generations. I know this won't go over well. If you want to dispute what I am saying, keep yourself grounded in reality and think of the 'how'. |
