Find you a partner who looks at you the way
cable news hosts look at the newest repuke Presidential candidate. The coverage of NH is completely over the top. Apparently, we will be treated to breathless coverage of her every move. For me, it's bringing back memories of 2016 and the countless hours of trump coverage.
Dems need to relentlessly point out that she is anti choice and anti democracy among many other horrible policy positions. Her smiling cutsie act is already making me ill.

1. It won't last because she'll be boring in a couple days
Trump was endless scandals, snafus, and objectionable behavior and utterances.
Nikki won't be paying off porn stars for silence, mockingly talking about grabbing people's junk and calling entire country's 'shitholes', etc. Now, concluding with Russia? Well, remains to be seen I suppose. They covered Trump because he brought eyeballs and clicks. Haley will not. |

3. colluding with Russia
(just tryin' to help out)
And don't you (still) find it incredible that the 'tough on crime - strong on defense - commie/pinkos under the bed, cold war warriors' - have found it within themselves to be so completely sanguine about very clear evidence of a Russian money and influence? (our own intelligence has, repeatedly, told a story of an attempt to sway the election. not good enough?) The armed services (both current and retired) are absolutely stocked with GOP votes ... What the hell happened? |

5. Because Russia is much more fascist/capitalist now than commie?
They hate gays there, trans people there, drugs there ... and the military is kind set up like a 'strongman' situation, it's certainly not a democratic institution, inherently. So, they probably don't mind a guy like Putin, etc.

6. good points. extremely disappointing, but ...
the 'strong man' certainly does have it's appeal (in more quarters than we might think).
I would argue though - 'capitalist' or not - I think Russia is still regarded (almost universally in the west, and certainly in the military?) as an adversarial state? Maybe I'm a bit naive on that score as well. |

2. I kind of hope it keeps up and she's the nominee.
She'll be crushed, IMO, because right wing men hate women and won't be enthused to vote for one at the top of the ticket and the majority of women will not vote for an anti-abortion loon just because she has a vagina.
I highly doubt she'll be chosen as the nominee over Dump or Ronito Mussolini, however. |
