The more I hear about DeSantis
the more he seems worse than TFG. Really a lot worse, actually. I mean he actually has "policy" ideas and is a true wingnut conservative. He also is smarter than TFG (not that that is too difficult).
Bottom line: he could do a lot more damage than TFG. I say we root for the orange menace.

16. Don't forget that he also went to Harvard Law and got honors there.
He ain't stupid but he's playing a stupid game with other players who are stupid. I am not sure of what's up with this guy but I sense danger.

will play well on a national stage. Biden will kick his ass in an election.

4. You wouldn't think so
To me, he is grotesquely unlikable. But then, I thought that about the TFG too.

7. Trump had the advantage of running against
Hillary, who the republicans have been demonizing for decades. And all kinds of shenanigans took place during that election. Laundered Russian money, etc. Not to mention the billions of dollars in free publicity a smitten media provided for Trump.

8. '24 will not be bereft of shenanigans, and the
media will be all over a shiny new candidate. DeSantis terrifies me. My primary optimism comes from just how colossally unlikeable he is.

DeSantis has the charisma of a dead rock.

Goper’s were sure both would be President.

He killed a lot of Floridians with his handling of Covid.
He's the authoritarian leader the GOP will love. |

12. Desantis has the personality and charisma of a turnip.
Try to listen to him for about 25 seconds. You will need a shot of Five Hour Energy to stay awake after about half a minute of him speaking. The more people are exposed to Desantis at a national level the less enthused they will be about him.

17. I live in Florida. Trust me. He's worse.
Unlike Trump, DeSantis is a true "conservative" ideologue.
He is a true (and literal) Freedom Caucus TEA Party Republican. You're not getting DeSantis to sign a First Step Act. |

18. He has zero charisma. And his kooky culture war bs won't fly with mainstream voters.
He’s not gonna last long if he tries to run. Remember when Gop’ers thought Scott Walker was gonna be the next President?

20. We underestimate him at our peril
We think he has no charisma. By the time Fox News is done polishing the turd, the Magats will adore him like they do/did Trump. He comes across a huge asshole. Just the type the republican base loves. A guy meaner than a junkyard dog, who lives to own the libs.

22. Trump genuinely has charisma. But DeSantis makes Pence look a rock star in comparison to his white
Booted self.
Fox failed with Scott Walker, Rick Perry etc. Sometimes you really can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear. Understand your point though. I won’t get too confident. |

25. Blame The Florida Legislature as well.
They are absolutely supine. They won’t go against him even on issues they don’t support.
