Romney Team Accidentally Releases Victory Website

.....

One of his staffers, however, apparently waited until the former Governor officially lost the election to make a clerical error in (presumably) leaking the link to the candidate's transition website accidentally.

On Wednesday, Roll Call's Political Wire posted screen grabs of some of the pages from the website that Romney and Paul Ryan would have released had they won the election.

The homepage of the site has a seal of 'The Office of the President Elect' and had a quote on the top signed by President-Elect Mitt Romney.

'I'm excited about our prospects as a nation. My priority is putting people back to work in America,' the large quote says.

It shows links to information about the would-be inauguration (taking place in Washington, DC on January 21, 2013) and his vision of a 'smaller, simpler, smarter' America.

I, for one, am quite relieved that he'll never, ever get his money grubbing hands on the nuclear codes.

I think they all really did believe they were going to win and were stunned by the early call of the race for President Obama. It boggles my mind that they were in such a bubble, totally removed from reality.

What does that mean? "smaller, simpler, smarter"...

Right after his speech, apparently. Staffers on their way home found out the hard way when they tried to pay for their taxis or other transportation.

Wow.

That might help explain why this website was 'accidentally' leaked by a former staffer - perhaps one who got stuck with a travel bill after being summarily dumped by Willard.
