1. Thanks for posting this. They are not sure it's school related at the moment. Victim is an adult.
At around 12:38 p.m. Tuesday, KCPD responded to reports of a shooting at 3930 Broadway Boulevard. Police say the shooting took place outdoors on the sidewalk. The Kansas City, Missouri, Fire Department says the victim is an adult. There is no word yet if the shooting victim is connected to Plaza Academy. https://www.kshb.com/news/crime/kcpd-responds-to-non-life-threatening-shooting-near-plaza-academy-high-school-in-westport |

3. Update:
snip...
Police said the victim, an adult male paraprofessional at the school, told detectives he was outside the back door of the school when a vehicle drove up and opened fire on him. As someone called for help, he walked through the school and first responders met him out front. The suspect vehicle drove off after the shooting. https://www.kmbc.com/article/kansas-city-missouri-plaza-academy-broadway-shooting-reported/42640364 |
