Just wondering about the psychology behind that.

(60,472 posts)Just as every accusation is a confession with these clowns, deep down in what remains of his "self", Shitstain knows that he's a fragment of the past, a has-been, a washed up remnant of whatever he remembers of The World As It Should Have Remained.
Thanatos draws him on - the idea of his own disappearance is incomprehensible, and incomprehensibly fascinating, and he can't look away, all of his sociopathic defense mechanisms notwithstanding.

She eventually ends up killing him.
It is a cult movie though.

She then strikes up a relationship with a much younger man (William Holden) and winds up killing him.
Sound familiar?

(2,065 posts)The camera angles, the cut scenes. This movie opened the door to cinema as an art form, and I began to look more for directors, and less for actors when I went looking in the videotape rental stores.
The performances in Sunset Boulevard were pretty good too, and I couldnt help but draw my own parallels between the final scene and shithead coming down his golden escalator.
Never knew it was his favorite flick, but not going to let that cheapen it for me.

Trump probably imagines himself doing a bigly better job than Bill, sweeping into that old mansion, taking Gloria by the p-word, at which point she sighs and falls into his arms and they go off to New York to build towers and party with Epstain.
