Kudos to Maine and Maryland for your courage and integrity and common sense...
...When so many in so many states have let themselves be swayed by cowardly, stupid, and just wrong arguments, when so many in so many states have let bigotry, hate and irrational fear vote for them, when so many in so many states have let the bias and bullying of certain organizations dictate what shall be law....
YOU, Maryland and Maine, voted with a clear head, with a generous heart and with a true understanding that all citizens of these United States must have equal rights.
You have every right to be proud and boast loudly. Please do, and please know that we who wanted the same for our states, but did not get it, we are very envious of the great integrity of Maryland and Maine. We hope it rubs off on others.
