What is the BS about the President didn't reach out enough to Rs during his first term?

Halperin and Steele are beating that drum on Alex Wagner. Not one person points out how much he tried to get these people to work with him first term and they just decided not to play. Is it somehow essential that a blind eye be turned to this fact as we move into the next four? If that is ignored and the rightwing is given an out, there will be no progress of any sort.

having secret meetings, Repub-only caucuses, etc. They have NOTHING to stand on to accuse Obama of doing anything close. It's their same old double-standard bullshit that they do on EVERYTHING. If one of their guys, or some televangelist, is caught with drugs, prostitutes, etc., well uh, dang, let's sweep that under the rug, but if it's on our side, we're Demon Spawn.

It is this attitude that just doesn't help all around. NOt a whit different that the crap on the right. At least let something move before you jump in with your cleats on to punch holes in the guy. He got a hell of a lot done inspite of you.

a) I was glad to see that end. b) They're the ones who refused to work with Obama, rather than vice versa.

All that we'll get that is good will be a more sane SCOTUS, and that will be very helpful going forward.

We're still on the wrong track and with a republican House there's no chance of changing it, even if the President wanted to, which he doesn't.
