She is as much of a corrupt, despicable Piece Of Shit as he is. Far from innocent.

That's the whole point of the signature.

Of course Republicans are actively opposed to personal responsibility

But let me just say this. I personally wish her no ill. If, for any reason, she ends up penniless and on the streets, then I do believe she should receive food stamps and a room at some public homeless shelter.

except for signing them. She wouldn't have had anything to do with tax preparation, which would have been servants' work.

There is no doubt in my mind, she is mentally abused., watching that buffoon of a husband of hers, he can be totally petty and vindictive. That is his go to.

It is so much harder to prove mental abuse. This is a female issue, not a gold digger gets what she deserves issue. We are Democrats. That sentiment is not representative of our party.

There do not have to be any mistakes on a tax form to claim abuse. In fact, the tax form can be perfect, and a person can still file for Innocent Spouse Relief. How do I know? I signed my husband’s joint tax filing. He was mentally abusive to me. My ex was making 6 figures. I made less than 4 figures.

Even with that difference, the IRS tried to come after me for thousands of dollars of taxes owed. My ex had secretly not paid taxes. When I left, he owed around a half million dollars. I only signed one tax form. I found the spine to say I would not sign the rest.

The IRS said since I signed it, I was responsible. It seems it is always the poorer person they go after. I told them I had proof he kept non-payment from me, but I signed the tax form!!!!!

Anyway, I researched it and found out about Innocent Spouse Relief. I gathered up photos of texts and emails, as well as photos of a hole in a bedroom door, where his fist missed me and hit that instead. I had letters. One from a friend who worked with abused woman. She was the first to tell me he is abusing me. I had a letter from a friend who witnessed some mental abuse, as well as telling me Adi was right, I was being abused. I had a packed of info I sent the IRS. It was inches thick.

They said I qualified! I owed none of my exe’s taxes!!! But it is so much harder to prove mental abuse. There are no scars, bruises or arrest reports. As I told the IRS, you cannot call a cop and have a report made up, saying my ex hurt my feelings!!!!

The bad part is NCDOR does not have a program in place, so they went after me for state taxes!!! His state taxes!

I talked to two divorce lawyers who were totally impressed with me. They said it is hard enough for a lawyer to win In o ent Spouse Abuse cases, but hardly ever a civilian! They asked if I had had any legal help. No!

Being an abused spouse is nothing to brush aside, even if the person may be a gold digger, who deserves that kind of abuse? I never had a panic attack in my life…..until I was abused.

As someone who has been in an abusive relationship, please do not downplay this or make reasons an abuse defense does not apply to her or she does not deserve that defense.

I want to say something so much greater than that, but I might be thrown off the board. So, go ahead and laugh and make jokes or condemn her. Abuse is abuse, period!
