I am encouraged that the Obama campaign spent so much of its money on GOTV and not TV.

He was the one stoking the flames and milking the Kochs. Now he has to explain where all the money went. Do you think this will change his level of influence in the Republican party?

to scare them. They didn't fall for it. Beating the money and a shot at setting up the Supreme Court to do what's right saved the country!

I'm glad they couldn't buy the White House this time, but it can have an effect on Congressional seats and the next presidential election.

a lesser candidate. One that would have allowed himself to be outmanueverd, would have gotten steamrolled.
Outside of that one debate, almost every day of the entire campaign, and almost 4 years straight he was one step ahead of them all. The entire machine. With almost no room at all for error to the point where they had to misconstrue his words out of context due to the almost inexistance of any gaffes. All they had, in four years, was "corpseman" and "57 states." That out of hundreds of speeches, dialogue, interviews etc etc etc. A lesser candidate... no chance.

Obama put the spine back into the Democratic party after 8 years of getting outmanuevered by Rove and the rest. The left is proud again.

can only help him instill a spine in the Democratic Senatorial Party. Losing Ben Nelson, Evan Bayh, Joe lieberman and maybe Kent Conrad coupled with fillibuster reform could lead to some real progressive legislation. I hope so.

This is not something I personally would be proud of. Granted it was necessary but it shouldn't be.

The one good thing I see coming out of this multi billion dollar election is maybe there will be bi-partisan support for overturning Citizens United. Republicans thought they would be the sole beneficiary of those funds but they were sadly mistaken..

I hope that Congress addresses the dark money loophole and just maybe a different Supreme Court will roll back Citizens. Until that happens I am opposed to bringing a knife to a gunfight.
