Christine McVie, who played with Fleetwood Mac and wrote some of their most famous songs, has died aged 79, her family has said.www.bbc.com
She died peacefully at a hospital in the company of her family, a statement said.
McVie left Fleetwood Mac after 28 years in 1998 but returned in 2014.

(5,290 posts)So many of the greats from my youth are gone. I remember skiing in Alaska with the radio being played over the loudspeakers...Fleetwood Mac was always there.

(24,618 posts)While in college in a house with anywhere from 6-10 roommates at times, 1 guy produces her solo album Christine Perfect and we literally played it all the time. We knew she was Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac, but we all called her Christine Perfect.
