House control may come down to New York's redistricting

From Democracy Now!

“Many analysts say if Democrats lose control of the House, it may largely be because of New York state, where Republicans have flipped four congressional seats. Sochie Nnaemeka, director of the New York Working Families Party, says the “low-participation, low-energy election” was the result of the Democrats’ “failed strategies at the state level.” “

Cuomo never wanted a competing political entity to his own campaign.

Blaming Party Leadership.
I have faithfully voted in each and every election, be it school board, primary, local, state or federal since 1973. I was even an election custodian for ten years.

I shouldn't vote. It is my responsibility as a citizen of this country, to vote in all elections. That is democracy.

6. Wasn't the Dem redistricting plan rejected by a judge...

and then a repub-favoring plan was put in place? That's how Rep.Sean Patrick Maloney, the Dem. Congressional Campaign Committee Chair, lost his seat.

Place the blame where it belongs. Bet it was a trump-appointed judge.

7. The scheme that allowed the Rep judge to usurp control was Andrew Cuomo's, plus he packed the courts

with conservatives to try and batter the progs.

He prevented Dem control of the NY Senate for years with his Independent Democratic Conference (IDC) scheme. The IDC was a group of members of the New York State Senate from the Democratic Party who were elected as Democrats but formed a coalition to give the Republicans the majority in the chamber.

His never-ending quest for power concentration and hatred of the NYC+ liberal/prog block in the 2 statehouse chambers, expecially the Senate, his dodgy, so-called independent redistricting schemes, and his conservative court packing could, could possibly be the coups de grâce that end up costing us control of the US House in 2022.
