5. the problem I have with this:

for several election cycles thousands of people have been reporting problems through this service. you can access it online and see the reports of vote flipping, broken voting machines, voter suppression, long lines in minority areas, voter intimidation, .... it goes on and on.

but it's like a black hole. nothing ever gets done about it. people study it perhaps and draw some conclusions about where a certain problem takes place more frequently. But does anyone ever get arrested for voter suppression?

every two or four years, we see the same exact problems. these assholes keep doing the same things because no one ever stops them.

this service sheds light on the problems but rarely if ever does anything get done about it.

I'm glad it's there and people are using it and reseachers can check it out. But I'd really like to see something be done about the stuff that goes in there someday.
