I having as much trouble digesting this "neck and neck in the polls" as I did with dire predictions
of Newsom being recalled (it was going to be a nail biter and mostly likely a constitutional crisis) , Ukraine falling in two days time (it was an absolute certainty) or the Kansas Abortion vote.
It was endless bullshit in each case.

1. Problem is this shit gets people to give up.
I am the most negative person here probably, and I dont believe these polls either.
We need to post in social media NON STOP that we are NOT to give up and to vote! |

2. And oh shit every goddamn piece right now is about how interest in Roe has vanished
and it's all about how the republicans are going to win on their "plans" to reverse inflation - of which there is nothing but even worse pain and suffering.

3. I think polls are missing a lot of rightfully angry women.
Think Kansas.
If I had to guess, I's say a shift of about 5% or so — huge in political terms — coming from women who won't tell a pollster their true feelings in front of their family, but alone in a voting booth can vote in their own interests. Dobbs is still resonating, and a lot of people don't have the luxury of forgetting about it. |

4. All the "I'm so worn.... I need a break". Designed to make us give up...
Plenty of time for a break 19 days for now.
Geez….why take a “break” at the finish line? I don’t get it. But downers are downers. |

8. I never miss an opportunity to promote Democrats and GOTV on social media.
However, I no longer trust the press or the polls, every race is 50/50 to me.

11. Everything they tell you on cable news
is designed to make you watch more cable news. It happens with every election. The closer to election day, the closer the races become. I call it "dead heat season", and it's here.

12. I hate it. I crave actual drilled down honest to god content.
I think there is a market for 200,000 polls and sober analysis. This 1000 people filtered through defective bullshit wrong algorithms is horrible. You think I'm on to something?

14. Polling companies are not stupid.
They know what the MSM wants to see and when they want to see it. If they didn't provide it, they would not be in business for long.
