MSNBC is not our savior
I know that CNN has been infuriating lately, and many of you have rightly pointed out that it is both sidering up a storm and turning to the right. I don't necessarily disagree, but if you turn to MSNBC expecting a more balanced view, beware. It's not happening, except sometimes in the primetime hours.
During the day, MSNBC has been ATROCIOUS the past few days. Their coverage of the midterms is subtle propaganda at its finest. OH NO!!! EVERYTHING IS HOPELESS FOR THE DEMS AND REPUPS WILL WIN NO MATTER WHAT!!!!! about sums it up. They have these robotic young reporters (one female, one male) who stare blankly into the camera and read talking points from the Walker campaign and the Vance campaign. THEY DO NOT EVEN HAVE REPORTERS FOLLOWING THE WARNOK OR RYAN CAMPAIGNS. What could possibly explain this? Total blackout. I know that not watching is an option, so replies to that effect will be ignored. They still deserve to be called out on it, am I right?

14. I was listening to it on the car radio.
Her voice is high and whiny enough to turn her off. Her reporting is infuriating.

4. As long as it makes folks get up and vote!
A lot of the younger ones probably went to the "both sides do it" school of journalism and it's hard to break that mind set. They see things a little more clearly on MJ and in the evening.

7. Watching televison seems to be a difficult experience
for more than a few on this site. First CNN, then SNL, and now even MSNBC doesn't adequately promote a Democratic agenda. What is the world coming to?

are right leaning at all times so you watch with that in mind. I just try to get the info I can and that is just one source.

16. Well...
... I put on Nicolle at 1 pm PST. I'll watch Biden on CNN and hope he's done in time for Lawrence on MSNBC. There is really no parallel to FOX and their ilk. Republicans like to say it's CNN, but that's laughable.

Not watching that trash 24/7 is certainly an option, a good one at that.

19. I watch for headlines, and that's it.
A daily dose of the talking heads is bad for my mental health.
I got sick of MSNBC’s constant Fox News regurgitations, which is when I stoped watching. |
