If you can't tell a bald-faced lie in public you are useless to the MAGA crowd. Ya know, it would have been so simple and easy to say, "Cheney called me and conceded." Hageman didn't even have to be gracious enough to say that Cheney had congratulated her on the win.

It must really be sad to go through life with such bitterness and hatred. To see life thru a filter of hatred towards everyone, who isn't another MAGAT. No gratiousness or decency towards others. Not letting people be OK if they deviate from your worldview in the slightest. Very sad.

If you think about it, if they did not have "an enemy" to always be fighting, what would motivate them? Conservatives seem to thrive on fear and resentment, especially the rank and file type members. If they were not always angry and looking at the "other" who was trying to steal from them, they might actually look at the policies of their party and realize that they are being played for fools.

The result of the election is that the person with the most votes wins. Whether the other persons running concede or not is immaterial. But the Cult has convinced itself that conceding or not conceding means the outcome is still contested (it's not).

I figure Hageman is going to be a one-term wonder like Cawthorn. When it turns out she’s worse at taking care of her constituents than she is at applying makeup, some cattle rancher who’s got enough employees to not have to be heavily involved in his business will run against her in the 2024 primary and win.
