So how's that GOTV/Poll tax thing coming along?
I've been reading horror stories on other forums of the near impossibility for some voters to get registered due to the logistical nightmare caused by Republican voter disenfranchisement efforts, requiring people to be transported half-way across a state to find a DMV and a Kafkaesque ratsnest of conflicting document requirements to the point where to get some documents, you need to already have that document (how's that for a run-on sentence).
One person was making it practically their full-time job driving people around, paying fees and wallowing through red tape.
Sounds like there needs to be some level of organization here. Is there any in the offing?

P. S. I do list a bunch of volunteer opportunities available thru DNC on the GOTV page, but I don't remember seeing this kind of effort.

It's not a matter of just driving somebody of to the poll. All that paperwork takes time, especially so you can get a birth certificate so you can get picture ID so you can get voter registration so you can wave all this around at the poll.
You're also going to need spotters at the polls to watch for Republican interference in the parking lot or some guy waving a gun around.
Do you want Canada to approach the UN about some election monitors?
