That is as big of a polling miss as I've ever seen. Most of the polls on this were off by 20 points! Pollsters right now are throwing out their current turnout models, they don't know what to think now.

Dems must run on this everywhere! Here in MI it will be easy since it's a ballot initiative, but every candidate across this country needs to make it clear that women's body autonomy is on the ballot.

until they did. I believe a lot of people just didn't think it would/could happen. Which did make it theoretical, a possibility, not a reality. Of course individual states had enacted anti-choice legislation, but it was for those people, not all people. I don't think the majority of people actually believed it would be struck down with threats of more and more supposedly settled constitutional rights being stripped away from people with more threats looming. It became a stark reality. And it became infuriating.
