on MSNBC right now saying "this doesn't mean that 60% of voters in Kansas are pro-choice."

You are right Susan... it's 62%

2. I think she was making the point

that some of the republicans who voted no are not necessarily all out pro choice. Rather they are against a complete ban which I think is true.

9. Isn't it interesting what some pundits will subject to nuance?

For example, polls about whether the country is on the right track or the wrong track. "60% of Americans think the country is on the right track." Yeah, but what does that mean? They think the Biden administration is messing up? That the Senate is a hapless swamp of engineered stalemate? That Democrats should be more forceful in enacting their policies? That Republicans could drop dead en masse tomorrow and the country would be immeasurably better off?

Nope, none of this parsing of numbers or nuanced analysis: The Biden Administration has utterly failed!

But more than 60% of Kansans vote to recognize the full humanity of women and trust them to make their own medical and reproductive decisions? We-e-e-e-ell, can we really say that?

Voting yes to save abortion rights. I bet it was more than a few.
